An outer band runs free around a fixed inner band. Push it with your thumb and it carries on by itself, which is the difference between something you fiddle with and something that answers back.
The outer surface is cut into facets rather than left smooth, so there is a texture under the thumb as well as a rotation. At 3mm it reads as a plain band from any normal distance.
Titanium steel, so it takes being turned all day without the finish going dull at the contact point.

Does the outer band really spin on its own?
Yes. Push it once and it carries on turning rather than stopping where your thumb left it. That is the difference between this and the fixed bands in the range.
Is it noisy?
There is a faint sound if you hold it to your ear, but not one anybody across a desk will hear. If silence matters, the Frosted Ring has no moving part at all.
Which finger does it suit?
Most people wear it on the thumb or index finger, where the other hand can reach it easily. It is sized US 5 to 12 so either works.
How does the 3 for 2 work?
Put any three pieces in the bag and one of them is free, taken off automatically at checkout. There is no code to enter. Six pieces gets you two free, and so on.

Will it look like a fidget ring?
No. Every piece here is made as jewelry first. The movement is built into a plain band, so it reads as a ring on the hand and nothing about it announces what it is for.
What size should I order?
Wrap a strip of paper around the finger, mark where it meets, then measure that length against a ruler. Around 54mm is a US 7, 57mm a US 8, 59mm a US 9. Our sizing guide has every size from 3 to 13.
If you would rather not measure, the Slider Ring and the Cuff Ring are open and adjustable, so there is no size to get wrong.
Can I wear it in water?
Take it off before swimming, showering with soap, or using cleaning products. That is true of any plated or sterling piece, and it is what keeps the color and the movement right for longest.
What is it made of?
It depends on the piece. Some are 925 sterling silver, some are 14K gold filled, and the rest are stainless or titanium steel. The exact metal for this ring is listed under Specifications above.
